Our initial focus was crystal clear: understanding the needs of entrepreneurs and providing the necessary network and resources to propel them forward. Despite the stigma surrounding “networking,” we recognized its pivotal role in connecting like-minded individuals, sharing best practices, and offering valuable mentorship. In our tight-knit community, support is abundant, and collaboration breeds innovation.

Drawing from decades of experience in outsourcing, financial services, and leadership, I personally committed to becoming a mentor for budding entrepreneurs through esteemed programs such as the Maine Center of Entrepreneurs and Top Gun. However, our efforts underscored a critical gap – the absence of localized resources for aspiring entrepreneurs in the Midcoast region.

This realization prompted a pivotal moment for the Rock Coast Networkers, leading to a rebranding as Rock Coast Entrepreneurs. By partnering with esteemed organizations like Rockland Main St, the Penobscot Bay Regions Chamber of Commerce, and soon, SBDC, MCE, and other mentors and experts, we’re forging a collaborative network aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial talent and fostering sustainable growth.

Our vision extends beyond mere support; it’s about empowering entrepreneurs to thrive.
